Topological Research on Antiferromagnets for Computing and Energy Efficiency (TRACE)

We propose a materials-centered multidisciplinary research program to exploit the unique properties of antiferromagnetic materials to address fundamental challenges to the microelectronic industries by creating new spintronic devices for next-generation low-power computing that supports and grows our current data-centered society.

Theory & Modeling

Analytical theory, micromagnetic modeling, and numerical simulation for antiferromagnetic textures, dynamics, and interfaces.

Experimental Platforms

Thin-film growth, transport, magnetic imaging, and ultrafast probes for antiferromagnets across bulk and heterostructure platforms.

Collaborative Network

Integrated work spanning universities, national laboratories, and cross-disciplinary teams linking theory, synthesis, and measurement.
